Code Browser via Encounters - Overview

The ICD-10 Code Browser that was introduced during our 6.0 update remains in place, but now includes a brand new feature set which allows a user that is creating an encounter to find, choose, and organize ICD-10 codes directly through a pop-up Code Browser from within the encounter screen. Read the following pages carefully and familiarize yourself with how the ICD-10 Browser works in conjunction with inputting encounters.

When the ICD-10 Browser is opened up from the Encounter screen, you will notice that there is a new box along the bottom of the window which is there to allow you to search and input the desired diagnosis codes from within the Browser.

Continue along to the next section to learn the ins and outs of how to use the ICD-10 Browser through the Encounters screen
